  • Arnold, Eddy-Have Guitar will Travel- LP- Living Stereo-RCA LSP1928 - 1959 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Eddy Arnold. Tunes include "Indiana", "Oklahoma Hills", and "Georgia On My Mind", and reflect a "travelin'/place name theme for the LP. Recorded in Living Stereo, an exclusive RCA process which produced audiophile-quality LP sound way ahead of it's time. Front cover slick looks great, but back cover shows water damage, so overall grade is only VG plus. Disc is clean, glossy and Near Mint minus (slight spindle mark). Nice vintage Arnold LP in Living Stereo

  • Arnold, Eddy-One More Time- LP- Living Stereo-LSP 2471 - 1962 release consisting of re-recordings of his biggest hits. Produced by Chet Atkins. As is usual on these Living Stereo LPs, sound is rich & full! Tunes include "One Grain of Sand", "Just Call Me Lonesome", and "Just Out of Reach". Cover is quite clean, with one slightly bent corner.   • Beethoven-Concerto #3/Rubenstein, Krips- LP- Living Stereo-RCA Victor LSC 2122 - 1958 release, shaded dog label, Indiana pressing! Mother # A1/D2, Stamper # 3S. Cover is very clean, front photo is glossy. Tiny nick on front, printing on back is faded in spots. Disc is quite clean visually. Plays with very minor surface noise.   • Belafonte, Harry-Sings the Blues- LP- Living Stereo-RCA LSP-1972 - 1958 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Folk and Pop singer, Harry Belafonte, who tries his hand here at a program of Blues material. Sides were recorded in NY with 3 different ensembles, directed by Alan Greene, Bob Corman, and Dennis Farnon. Tracks include "Losing Hand," "The Way That I Feel," and "Fare Thee Well." Copy at hand is an original RCA Living Stereo LP, offering excellent audiophile-quality sound. Cover is Near Mint. Disc (heavy vinyl-black label with silver print-"deep groove"-"Living Stereo") bears the following dead wax numbers: "I," "A1/B2 (mother #'s), "13S/27S" (stamper #'s). Vinyl is clean, glossy, and Near Mint. Plays nicely with light surface noise and clear sound.

  • Belafonte, Harry (w/Bob Dylan)-Midnight Special- LP- Living Stereo-RCA LSP-2449 - 1961 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Harry Belafonte. Copy at hand is an original RCA Living Stereo LP, offering excellent audiophile-quality sound. This LP, apart from being an excellent Belafonte album with an emphasis on American Folk music (as opposed to the Calypso he often did), has the added distinction of having Bob Dylan on harmonica. (This was Dylan's first appearance on record!) Tracks include "Memphis Tennessee," "Muleskinner," and "Midnight Special." Cover is very clean, showing only minor ring wear. Disc is Near Mint. Plays clean with only minor surface noise and rich, clear sound.

Carter takes a left turn here and performs a program of J.S. Bach compositions on solo bass! Copy at hand is an original Philips/Japan digital LP, offering rich, audiophile-quality sound. Cover has clean front slick-back cover shows slight wear-no stains, tears, splits, or writing. Disc is clean, glossy, and Near Mint. Plays clean with only minor surface noise and rich, clear sound.

  • Crawford, Hank-Soul of the Ballad- LP- Stereo-Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab MFSL 1-224 - Handsome audiophile reissue of rare 1963 Atlantic jazz album. Mastered directly from the original master tapes. This album finds bluesy Texas tenor player Hank Crawford with the Marty Paich Orchestra performing a program of ballads ("Stardust", "If I Didn't Care", "Stormy Weather", etc.) against a backdrop of strings.   • Dylan, Bob-Blonde On Blonde- CD- stereo-Sony/Epic EK 64411 - 1994 Audiophile CD reissue of classic '66 2 LP set by Bob Dylan, w/great players like Robbie Robertson, Al Kooper, Charlie McCoy. Tracks incl. "Pledging My Time", "Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat", & hits "Rainy Day Women" & "Just Like a Woman", & "I Want You". CD is a Sony 24 karat gold-plated "Mastersound" compact disc, remastered for audiophile sound. Process uses original master tapes, & Sony's Super Bit Mastering Process. Has original outer slipcase, w/slit in front to reveal part of front cover. Inside slipcase is standard jewel case w/white tray & front & back insert. Front insert unfolds into 6 sections to reproduce art inside original album cover. (The long-deleted Dylan ex-girlfriend is NOT depicted, however.) Disc is clean, glossy & Mint. Plays beautifully w/rich full-spectrum sound superior to regular commercial releases! Great copy!

Gardony studied at Boston's Berklee School of Music, and is East Coast based. LP at hand finds Gardony working with Ian Froman on drums and the great Miroslav Vituous on bass. Track Listing: 1. Secret, 2. Soul, 3. Big Red, 4. Edith, 5. Emeralds, 6. Free. LP, which is an audiophile DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) pressing, is still sealed in it's original shrinkwrap.   • Lambert, Hendricks, and Bavan-Basin Street East- LP- Living Stereo-RCA LSP-2635 - 1963 33 1/3 RPM LP release. Copy at hand is an original RCA Living Stereo title, offering excellent audiophile-quality sound. This album, recorded "live" at Basin St. East in NYC, features the LP debut of Yolande Bavan, who replaced the ailing Annie Ross. The excellent backing band features Guildo Mahones on piano, and Pony Poindexter on soprano sax. Selections include "Shiny Stockings," "April in Paris," and "Swingin' Till the Girls Come Home." Cover is very clean with slight wear. Disc is Near Mint. Plays clean with only minor surface noise and rich, clear sound.

  • Lewis, Ramsey-Sun Goddess- LP- stereo-Columbia HC 43194 - Classic Ramsey Lewis album, originally released in 1982, combining Lewis's funky Jazz stylings with the vocal talents of Earth, Wind and Fire! Album was a big success for Lewis, yielding a number of hits. Tunes include "Sun Goddess", "Living For the City", and "Jungle Strut". LP at hand is an audiophile recording, released on Columbia's excellent "Mastersound" series. LP was made with the original master tapes, played at half speed for superior fidelity, with several of the usual transfer steps eliminated. Result is a superior LP, with finer detail, richer sound, and low surface noise. Cover (promo stamp on back) and disc are both Mint.

  • Munch, Charles/Charles Munch Conducting the Boston Symphony Orchestra, with Berj Zamkochian, organist-Saint-Saens: Symphony No.3 ("Organ")-- LP- stereo-RCA/Teldec ATL1-4039 - 1981 33 1/3 RPM audiophile LP reissue of classic 1959 recording by Charles Munch and the Boston Symphony Orchestra, with guest, organist Berj Zamkochian. LP was released as part of the short-lived, but excellent, RCA Red Seal .5 ("Point Five") Series, which used the original master tapes, played at half-speed (these are known as "half-speed master recordings") for extra-high fidelity. Vinyl pressed at Teldec in West Germany. Cover (enclosed in original resealable sleeve) is extremely clean. Small crease at top center on front-no stains, tears, splits, or writing. Disc is clean, glossy, and Near Mint. Plays beautifully with rich sound and quiet surface!

  • Price, Leontyne/Rosalind Elias/Richard Tucker/Leonard Warren/Giorgio Tozzi with Arturo Basile/Rome Opera House Orchestra and Chorus-Verdi/Highlights Il Trovatore- Reel to Reel- Living Stereo-RCA FTC 2122 - 1962 release, 4 track 7 1/2 IPS reel to reel tape featuring the allstar cast of Leontyne Price, Rosalind Elias, Richard Tucker, Leonard Warren and Giorgio Tozzi, along with the Rome Opera House Orchestra, performing highlights from Verdi's Il Trovatore. Overall, box shows light wear from handling. Top left corner has seam split. Box edges show a little wear. Front slick is clean and glossy, however. Recorded with RCA's famous "Living Stereo" process, which produced audiophile-quality sound well ahead of it's time! Tape within is well-cared for with clean leader. Classic performance of Il Trovatore. Nice vintage Classical reel!

Album touches on Jazz, Dixieland, Honky Tonk, & cool '50's Lounge-all with adventurous, slightly zany arrangements. Tracks incl. "Am I Blue", "Your Spell Is Everywhere", & "Narcissus". Allstar sidemen incl. Al Caiola, Bob Haggart, Terry Snyder, & Yank Lawson. LP was recorded with the legendary Living Stereo process for super-audiophile sound. Cover is Near Mint. Inside cover is a special 2 page booklet from Chemstrand Company (some sort of commercial tie-in, apparently-this is a very unusual feature!), featuring great color photos of Babs. Rare promo copy with insert. Top condition.

  • Various Artists-The Spectacular World of Dynagroove: His Master's New Voice- LP- Stereo-RCA Victor PRS-143 - Approx. 1963 release, 5 disc set in heavy cardboard slip case, issued to cash-in on the the craze for exaggerated stereo effects. Dynagroove followed "Stereo Action", which was in turn preceded by the legendary "Living Stereo" process. Dynagroove produces a rich full-frequency sound on a clean, quiet playing surface & was well-regarded in its time. The set includes the following 5 discs (all in individual jackets): Peter Nero (Hail the Conquering Nero), Uniquely Mancini (The Big Band Sound of Henry Mancini), The Rome Sound Stage Orchestra (The Themes From Cleopatra), Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops (Jalousie-Pops "Latin" record!), Marty Gold and His Orchestra (Soundpower!
