- Scaggs, Boz-Silk Degrees- LP- stereo-MC 43290 - Classic Boz Scaggs album, originally release in 1978. Album features Boz at his silky and soulful peak, with almost every song making the charts (Pop and R&B!!). Tunes include "What Can I Say", "Jump Street", "What Do You Want the Girl to Do", "Harbor Lights", "Lowdown", etc. LP at hand is an audiophile recording, released on Columbia's excellent "Mastersound" series. LP was made with the original master tapes, played at half speed for superior fidelity, with several of the usual transfer steps eliminated. Result is a superior LP, with finer detail, richer sound, and low surface noise. Cover is Near Mint, disc is Mint.

- South Pacific-Original Motion Picture Soundtrack- Reel to Reel- stereo-RCA Victor FTO-5001 - 1960 7 1/2 IPS 4 track reel to reel tape release of the famous (and great) musical by Rodgers and Hammerstein, "South Pacific." Soundtrack stars Rossano Brazzi and Mitzi Gaynor, with music conducted by Alfred Newman. This album won an Academy Award for "Achievement in Sound." Copy at hand is an original RCA Living Stereo reel, offering excellent audiophile-quality sound. Songs include "Some Enchanted Evening," "There is Nothin' Like a Dame," and "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair." Box and tape are both Near Mint.

Program is all symphonic dance: Dvorak/Slavonic Dance #1, Strauss/Die Fledermaus, Gliere/Russian Sailor's Dance, Ponchinelli/Dance of the Hours, Saint-Saens/Danse Macabre, Brahms/Hungarian Dance #5 & de Falla/Three Cornered Hat. Laminated gatefold cover is Mint, as is the vinyl disc. London Phase 4 Stereo recordings are prized for their rich sound reproduction, and this one is no exception! Plays virtually free of noise with wide-spectrum sound!

Tracks include "Yesterdays", "Where or When", and a lengthy Broadway medley (entitled "medley"). Cover is Near Mint. Disc is a white label promo (360 degree sound label) and is MINT. Inside cover is a special 2 page booklet from Chemstrand Company (some sort of commercial tie-in, apparently-this is a very unusual feature!), featuring great color photos of Babs. Rare promo copy with insert. Top condition.

Dynagroove followed "Stereo Action", which was in turn preceded by the legendary "Living Stereo" process. Dynagroove produces a rich full-frequency sound on a clean, quiet playing surface & was well-regarded in its time. The set includes the following 5 discs (all in individual jackets): Peter Nero (Hail the Conquering Nero), Uniquely Mancini (The Big Band Sound of Henry Mancini), The Rome Sound Stage Orchestra (The Themes From Cleopatra), Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops (Jalousie-Pops "Latin" record!), Marty Gold and His Orchestra (Soundpower!
