- Executive Suite-When the Fuel Runs Out/You Got It (Part II)-- 45- stereo-Babylon BRC 1111 - 1973 45 RPM 7" release by Executive Suite, a Camden, New Jersey vocal
quartet. Disc was released on the small, but excellent Philadelphia indie
label, Babylon-great production values on disc thanks to Norman Harris,
Bunny Sigler, and others. A side was a national hit and Philly Soul classic,
and is very hard to find today. B side is rather different, with a Sly Stone
Funk sound and a chugging groove-an excellent tune! Disc is clean, glossy,
and Near Mint. Plays nicely with light surface noise.

- Fair, Yvonne-Funky Music Sho Nuff Turns Me On (mono)/Funky Music Sho Nuff Turns Me On (stereo)- 45- mono/stereo-Motown M 1306F - 1977 release 45 RPM promo 7" by James Brown protege Yvonne Fair, a great singer who put out many fine Soul sides starting in the early 60s, but didn't have a hit until 1976 with "It Should Have Been Me." This 7" (produced by the great Norman Whitfield) features the same song on both sides in Mono and Stereo. The song (a Whitfield-Strong composition) is a great funky side with a driving beat (uncharacteristic of Motown at this time). The disc-from a mostly unplayed DJ collection-is clean, glossy and Mint (clean labels).
