- Cash, Johnny-Greatest!- LP- mono-Sun 1240 - 1959 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Johnny Cash. This was Johnny's 3rd Sun LP, put out just after Johnny left the label to go to Columbia. It includes a great selection of classic Cash material, recorded from '55 to '58. Track listing: Goodbye Little Darlin' Goodbye, I Just Thought You'd Like To Know, You Tell Me, Just About Time, I Forgot To Remember To Forget, Katy Too, Thanks A Lot, Luther's Played The Boogie, You Win Again, Hey Good Lookin', I Could Never Be Ashamed Of You, Get Rhythm. Copy at hand is a Sun first pressing in fine condition. Glossy extra-thick cover is extremely clean with only the most minor wear-no stains, writing, splits, etc. Disc (heavy vinyl, deep groove) is clean and glossy overall, with a few minor marks here and there, except for one long and unsightly spindle mark (made by dragging the record over the dull metal spindle on the turntable) on the A side. This mark is about ten inches long. However, the mark does NOT signifigantly affect play. Disc plays nicely with moderate surface noise and the clear sound of a Sun first pressing!
