  • Beatles-"Talking" Ad for "Hard Day's Night" DVD Reissue- Printed Folder- -Billboard Magazine 8/24/02 - 2002 magazine ad for the Miramax DVD reissue of The Beatles' movie, "A Hard Day's Night". Ad appeared once only in Billboard Magazine & takes the form of a glossy 10 3/4" X 8 1/2" silver folder, with images of The Beatles taken from the movie, photos of the DVD cover, hype about the DVD release, etc. Most-striking feature of the ad is a tiny microchip with speakers implanted inside it. When the folder is opened, the chip begins playing the opening of "Hard Day's Night"!! Our research shows that these cards typically have about 140 plays in them. This one has been played perhaps 20 or 30 times. Front cover shows 2 vertical creases. Back cover has paper stuck to it along the entire right edge where it was originally glued into a copy of Billboard. Shipping charges same as for 1 LP.

  • Crosby, Bing-Decca Records Felt Record Cleaner- Display-Promo_Items- N/A-none - Very cool vintage Bing Crosby record cleaning brush (or duster), used to remove dust & dirt from the surface of a vinyl disc (we believe that this was originally intended for 78's, although it works just as well with other speeds). Our guess is that this is from the late 40's. Top side looks like an old political button, but has Bing's head and signature on a yellow background. Item is rounded, and underside is black felt, still in fine condition, perfectly usable for it's original purpose. This is the ancestor of the Discwasher cleaner, used widely in the 70's and 80's. We have seen these once or twice only at antique shows, but always very worn. This one is in top condition. Cool Bing Crosby and audiophile collectible!

  • Dylan, Bob-Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award- poster- -Columbia/Sony (US) - (Approx.) 1991 promotional poster (22 1/2 x 39"), issued to publicize Dylan's 1191 Grammy "Lifetime Achievement" award, which Sony no doubt hoped would boost Dylan's back-catalogue sales as well. Poster uses a nice early to mid-1960's image of Dylan singing with the harmonica rack on. Dylan's most popular catalogue albums are depicted in the bottom right corner. There is a bit of mounting gum on the backside of the poster which (as we could not easily remove it) we covered with clear plastic tape so that it would not damage the poster. Poster shows moderate creasing/handling (mostly around the edges). (PLEASE NOTE: we have weighed the poster down with clear cassette cases to photograph it-this is what you see in each of the 4 corners. Poster is in a rolled state. Official grade is EXCELLENT PLUS. Shipping charges will be the same as for one LP.

  • Dylan, Bob-The Bootleg Series, Volumes 1-3- poster- -Columbia/Sony (US) - (Approx.) 1991 promotional poster (22 1/2 x 39"), issued to publicize the then-new Bob Dylan box set, "The Bootleg Series, Vol. 1-3", which was the first signifigant reissue of Bob Dylan rarities since the "Biograph" set many years earlier. Poster uses great early image of Dylan in the recording studio playing harmonica. Poster also has a detachable bottom flap with info about the box set. I guess the idea was that this could be removed and discarded if the owner wanted to frame or mount the poster after the publicity campaign was over. Poster shows minor creasing and handling only. There is a bit of mounting gum on the backside of the poster which (as we could not easily remove it) we covered with clear plastic tape so that it would not damage the poster. Poster is in a rolled state. Official grade is Near Mint Minus.
