- Bailey, Pearl-Sings for Adults Only- LP- Mono-R25016 - 1959 release, white label with colored spokes, 1st pressing, excellent swinging jazz vocal album with big band directed by jazz great Don Redman! Looks at 1st glance like a novelty album, caption on fromt cover reads: "Performance of this album RESTRICTED from airplay", this however was merely a ploy to entice the public into buying something forbidden! some of the songs are mildly risque at best: "Legalize My Name", "I Wanna Get Married", and "Let's Do It", handsome glossy cover is totally clean in original shrink wrap, but does have 2" seam split at bottom right, depicts Pearl amid a pile of furs, disc looks unused and plays mint! - Baker, Bonnie-Oh Johnny!- LP- mono-WB 1212 - 1958 3 1/3 RPM LP release by 1940's Pop vocalist, Bonnie Baker, who reprises her biggest hit, "Oh Johnny!" here. Orchestra cond by Wilbur Hatch. Other tracks include "Aggravatin' Papa, Don't You Try to Two Time Me" and "Ma (He's Makin' Eyes At Me"). Cover shows only faint wear & tiny indentation at right center edge. Disc (heavy vinyl-grey "Vitaphonic" label) is clean, glossy & Near Mint. - (EXC+/NM) - $4.99- Order
- Beausonge, Lucid-Africaine- LP- Stereo-RCA PL 37568 - 1981 release 33 1/3 RPM LP by Quebecois French vocalist Lucid Beausonge. This award winning LP features "Tu T'Demandes", "Africane" & "Sans Concession." Cover (with the original price sticker on the back) is extra clean with no stains, heavy creases, tears or seam splits. Small dent at the top left corner. Disc (housed in crisp original custom inner sleeve with lyrics) is clean & glossy showing only 2 minor spindle marks, which do not affect play, at the end of the A side.

- Clooney, Rosemary/Duke Ellington & His Orchestra-Blue Rose- LP- mono-Columbia CL 872 - 1956 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Pop & Jazz vocalist, Rosemary Clooney. Following a string of Pop hits, this ambitious and musically successful collaboration with Duke Ellington shows off Clooney's Jazz vocal chops to the max. She's every bit up to the challenge as she tackles such Ellington classics as "Sophisticated Lady", "Passion Flower", and "Mood Indigo". Copy at hand is a "6 eye" label 1956 first press LP in fine condition. Cover is super clean-3 inch seam split at top right has been neatly repaired from the inside. Disc (red label/black print-"6 eye" design) is clean, glossy and Near Mint. Plays nicely with only light surface noise and clear sound.

- Connor, Chris-I Miss You So- LP- Mono-Atlantic 8014 - 1957 release, 1st press with original black Atlantic label with silver print by Jazz vocalist Chris Connor. Connor, known for her classy interpretations of standards, is accompanied by Ray Ellis and his orchestra. Album features 12 cuts arranged by Ellis including "They All Laughed", "Radar Blues" and "Go 'Way From My Window." Glossy front cover is very clean with only a tiny tear, slight wear to two corners, and 2 tiny staple holes at top right. A name (just three letters) is written in pen on the back cover. Handsome 1957 original with Mint disc!

- Damita Jo-I'll Save the Last Dance For You- LP- mono-Mercury MG 20642 - 1960 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Pop and Rhythm & Blues vocalist, Damita Jo, who was the featured vocalist with the early R&B group, Steve Gibson and the Red Caps. She was also a regular on the Redd Foxx TV show in the 70's. Title track (answer song to the Drifters' "Save the Last Dance For Me") was a Pop hit in '60-rest of album was obviously shaped around the hit-Mercury had her record an album of all "dance" songs! Other tracks include "Dancing on the Ceiling," "I Won't Dance," and "Dance with a Dolly." Glossy cover is Near Mint-no stains, tears, splits, or writing. Disc is clean and glossy-A side has small nick which causes popping briefly. B side has several spindle marks which do not affect play. Plays nicely overall with only minor surface noise and clear sound. N/A on CD.

- Ennis, Ethel-This Is Ethel Ennis- LP- stereo-RCA LSP-2786 - 1964 33 1/3 RPM LP release by vocalist Ethel Ennis. Ennis has some serious vocal chops reminding one at times of Sarah Vaughan. She's backed on this LP by Sid Bass and his Orchestra-most tracks are swinging Big Band, with Bass using strings only on a few songs. Tracks include "He Loves Me," "As You Desire Me," and "Love, Don't Turn Away." Cover is Near Mint-no stains, tears, splits, or writing. Disc (black label with silver print-"Stereo Dynagroove" label) is MINT. Plays with rich sound and almost no surfae noise. A desirable stereo copy.

- Faye, Frances-In Frenzy- LP- mono-Verve V-2147 - 1961 33 1/2 LP release by Jazz and Cabaret vocalist, songwriter (wrote hits for the Andrews Sisters), and film actress, Frances Faye. Copy at hand is a Mint 1961 first press. Music arranged and conducted by the excellent Russell Garcia. Tunes (including a lot of Latin standards) include "I Cried For You", "Perfidia", "Frenesi". Cover is clean with slight wear only ("C086" stamped on back cover-promo marking?). Disc (black label, "Verve Inc." at bottom) is clean, glossy, and Mint. From old unplayed store stock collection.
