- Alpert/Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass-The Beat of the Brass- Reel to Reel- stereo-A&M 146 - 1968 4 track 7 1/2 IPS reel to reel tape release by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass. Album tracks include the title song from the musical, "Cabaret", which was a minor Pop hit for the group. Biggest track of the album by far, however, is the vocal tune (sung by Herb, who rarely featured his voice), "This Guy's In Love With You", which was written by Bert Bacharach and Hal David. Tracks on this LP include " Battle Hymn of the Republic", "La Marseillaise", and "Onward Christian Soldiers". Glossy cover is remarkably clean and grades Near Mint. Disc (heavy vinyl-black label with silver print and multicolor soundwave logo at top) is clean, glossy, and grdes Near Mint.
