Guthrie has 4 songs on the LP: "Traveling Music," "Trip to the City," and the 2-part "Alice's Restaurant Massacree." (We have been unable to determine if the "Massacree" featured on this album is the same as the one Arlo recorded for Warner Bros. Aurally, we were unable to tell. However, we were unable to see any credit to Warner Bros. for use of the song so this version may possibly be a different version recorded for United Artists.) Also features 1 track each by Tigger Outlaw and Al Shackman, plus 3 instrumentals by Garry Sherman. Cover is super-clean in original shrinkwrap-slight wear to exposed right edge. Offering one 1972 33 1/3 rpm vinyl LP release by Tim Buckley. Buckley, father to the late Jeff Buckley, made his name on the Folk circuit, but by the late 60's and early 70's he was pushing the boundaries of his music greatly. This LP on Frank Zappa's Straight label finds him backed by a funky ensemble that includes Chuck Rainey, Vanetta Fields and Clydie King. Tracklist: 1 Move with Me, 2 Get on Top, 3 Sweet Surrender, 4 Nighthawkin', 5 Devil Eyes, 6 Hong Kong Bar, 7 Make It Right. Gatefold cover shows slight ringwear and edgewear. Original 'push-out card' on front cover has been removed, leaving a rectangular window. (Card had same photo the one below it.) Looking at our scan, you will note that the bottom right corner of the gatefold has been torn and reglued. Disc is housed in crisp original Straight Records inner sleeve (not in our scan). Vinyl surface is clean and glossy with no real flaws except one heavy spindle mark on side 1, which does not affect play. Disc plays nicely with only minor surface noise and clear sound.

Tracks include some Dylan, Beatles, Leonard Cohenand, Donovan & Richard Farina tunes as well as "Pirate Jenny" (Brecht) "La Colombe" (Jacques Brel) and "I Think It's Going to Rain Today" (Randy Newman). The cover is remarkably clean and near perfect in the original shrink wrap. There are no stains, tears, writing, heavy creases, seam splits, or any other unsightly or unmentioned flaws. Goodtime Singers (Good Time Singers)-One Step More- LP- stereo-Cap ST 2170 - 1964 33 1/3 RPM LP release by The Goodtime Singers. Group was a sing-along style Folk group organized by songwriter and performer, Tom Drake, who had previously led a group called the Other Singers. The Goodtime Singers were specially formed to meet a need to replace the New Christy Minstrels, who were leaving the Andy Williams show. 2 Capitol LP's (this is the 2nd) and many TV appearances followed. Hibbs, Harry-At the Caribou- LP- stereo-Arc 794 - 1968 release 33 1/3 RPM LP by Bell Island, Newfoundland native Harry Hibbs, who sings and plays button accordian. On this album he performs a mix of Scottish and Irish Folk jigs, reels and some of his own ballads (with elements of Country music thrown into the mix). Tracks include "Haste to the Wedding," "Squid Jiggin' Ground" and "Black Velvet Band." Cover is Near Mint with clean, sharp edges and corners-no seam splits, tears, stains or writing. Disc is clean, glossy and MINT.
Highwaymen-self-titled- LP- mono-United Artists UAL 3125 - 1961 33 1/3 RPM LP release by The Highwaymen. Group was formed out of Wesleyan Univ. in Connecticut. Members for this album were Steve Butts, Chan Daniels, Bobby Burnett, Steve Trott, and Dave Fisher. The group compares favorably to Kingston Trio, Chad Mitchell Trio, etc. The Highwaymen actually had a number one Pop hit with the traditional tune "Michael" on this album (which came as a big surprise as they were trying to promote another tune named "Santiago"). Other tracks on this LP include "Big Rock Candy Mountain", "Cindy O Cindy", and "Sinner Man". Copy at hand is an original 1961 UA 1st pressing. Cover is Near Mint with only very minor wear and no splits, stains, tears or writing. Disc (housed in original UA inner sleeve) is clean, glossy and Near Mint. Plays nicely w/only minor surface noise & clear sound. Not available on CD.
