He is accompanied by Paul Mauriat ("Love Is Blue") & His Orchestra. Tunes include "Le Temps", "Je T'Aimais Tant", "Avec" and others. Cover is quite nice, as is disc. - (NM/NM) - $10- Order

  • Aznavour, Charles-Le Grand Charles!- LP- Mono-Monument MLP 8071 - Approx. 1967 release. Recorded in France. Features "J'Aime Paris Au Mois De Mai", "Ce Sacre Piano","Apres L'Amour", etc. Cover is perfectly preserved in shrink wrap. Disc appears unplayed. - (M/M) - $12- Order

  • Baker, Josephine (Living Stereo LP)-Chante Paris- LP- stereo-RCA FSP-101 - 1961 33 1/3 RPM 1st press LP release by American ex-patriot and legendary vocalist and entertainer, Josephine Baker. Songs are all in French, and are all about Paris! Tracks include "J'ai Deux Amours," "Ca c'est Paris," and "Fleur de Paris." Copy at hand is an original RCA Living Stereo LP release, offering rich audiophile-quality sound. Disc (black label with silver print-"deep groove"-Rca logo in red circle at top) is clean, glossy, and MINT, possibly unplayed. A scarce title, and an amazing copy!

This award winning LP features "Tu T'Demandes", "Africane" & "Sans Concession." Cover (with the original price sticker on the back) is extra clean with no stains, heavy creases, tears or seam splits. Small dent at the top left corner. Disc (housed in crisp original custom inner sleeve with lyrics) is clean & glossy showing only 2 minor spindle marks, which do not affect play, at the end of the A side.

  • Francois, Claude-Y'A Le Printemps Qui Chante / En Attendant- 45- stereo-Disques Fleche 6061 158 - 1971 45 RPM 7" release with picture sleeve by French vocalist and songwriter, Claude Francois. A side is one of Francois' most famous songs. Picture sleeve is clean with slight creasing-no stians, tears, splits, or writing. Disc is clean, glossy, and Near Mint. Plays clean with only minor surface noise and clear sound.

  • Gall, France-Le Disque De Or De France Gall- LP- STEREO-Philips (Canada) 844.556 - Red label, mid to late 60's French-Canadian collection of France Gall's early to mid 60's pop hits. Includes "Baby Pop", "Bon Soir, John John", and "Le Coeur Qui Jazze". Style goes from faux-jazz to American style Pop and Rock, to pure French. Very cute vocal style. Pretty photo of France on cover. One corner of cover is bent, slight stain on back cover, disc is nice, a few light marks only, very negligable. Plays great!! Cool record!!

  • Piaf, Edith and Sarapo-At the Bobino- LP- Stereo-Capitol ST 10348 - 1963 release, recorded in France live in Paris at the Bobino. Side 1 is devoted to Edith, Side 2 to her young husband, Greek singer Sarapo (who towers above her on the cover!) Last cut on Side 2 is a duet. Well-recorded on Capitol International series. Cover would be mint but for 2 small marks at edge. Disc is mint, great copy. - (NM/M) - $12- Order

  • Renaud, Line-Au Moulin Rouge- LP- mono-Pathe AT1099 - French issue 10", glossy cover features sexy photo of Line in action, live recording at Moulin Rouge, late 50's(?), with "Avec Celui Qu'on Aime", & "Que Sera Sera" - (EXC+/VG+) - $20- Order

  • Richard, Michele-Twist- LP- mono-Meteor MET8009 - French Canadian chauteuse belts out famous twist tunes-in French!! includes "The Twist", Let's Twist Again", and "Save the Last Dance for Me", good vocalist, good band! great looking record shows Michele on cover with bouffant, on back cover she gives twist lessons in diagrams!! approx. 1963 release by it's appearance, Meteor label is very cool! cover is quite clean, light marks only on disc, plays nicely!! - (NM/EXC) - $20- Order

  • Richard, Ti-Blanc-same- LP- mono-London (Canada) SDS. 5084 - (Approx.) early 1960's 33 1/3 RPM LP release by French-Canadian fiddling legend, Ti-Blanc Richard. LP was released as part of London's Serie Francaise imprint. Tracks include "Le Reel De Ste-Anne", "Silver Bell", and "La Gigue Du Brandy". Front cover has Richard quite resplendent in a custom-made suit with fiddle! Cover is still encased in original shrinkwrap & is 90% Mint with slight wear to the exposed right edge. Disc (blue label/silver print-"Serie Francaise") is clean and glossy, showing some spindle marks from careless handling which do not seriously affect play. Sound of LP is instrumental fiddle not at all disimilar to Louisana Cajun fiddling. Excellent & rare LP!

  • Various: Jean-Paul Kreder Choir/Les Petits Chantears A La Croix Des Boix-Christmas Music of France (Noels Populaires)- LP- stereo-Capitol/EMI SM 10484 - Late 1960's 33 1/3 RPM reissue of an early 60's Christmas LP, released by Capitol as part of their "International Series," a series which featured material recorded by sister label EMI in France and other European countries. We do occasionally see these original LP's, but generally in poor condition. Copy at hand is still sealed in original factory shrinkwrap, unopened, unplayed & Mint. Side A is by the Jean-Paul Kreder Choir, tracks include "Bouquet De Noel No. 3: La Nuit," "Mon Beau Sapin" & "Petit Papa Noel." B side features Les Petit Chanteurs A La Croix De Bois (Child Singers of the Cross). Tracks include "Noels: Musette," "Noels No. 4: Praetorius" & "Un Flambeau Jeanette, Isabelle (Noel Provencel)." Out of print for many years.

A side is his most famous tune-a true anthem for Quebec, originally sung by Monique Leyrac in 1965. Disc (Disques D'Or/Hall of Fame series with light blue label) has tiny pen mark on A side.
