- Vargas, Wilfrido-La Enfermedad Del Bolsillo/No Mencione El 7- 45- stereo-Karen K 607 - 1981 45 RPM seven inch release by Dominican Republic Merengue trumpeter, vocalist, bandleader, composer, arranger, conductor, and producer, Wilfrido Vargas. Vargas, known as "The Ambassador of Merengue", is credited with much of the development of "Neuvo Merengue". Disc was released on the excellent Latin label, Karen Records. Copy at hand is an original Karen 45-NOT a repro-from old store stock, and is MINT and unplayed.

- Velazquez, Anibal/Anibal Velazquez y su Conjunto-A La Orilla Del Mar / Luto Rojo- 45- mono-EVA International (Venezuela?) E 402 - Late 1950's or early 1960's 45 RPM 7" release by Anibal Velazquez. Velazquez was a legendary figure in Venezuela, known as the "King of Guaracha." He is succeeded by his son Nelson, who is also a well-known musician. A side (also the title of one of Velazquez' albums) is an uptempo tune with lively percussion and lead accordion. B side is also uptempo with group vocal and rollicking accordion and maracas. Disc is clean, glossy, and Near Mint. Rare piece, about which we can find no other information.

- Yanes, Roberto-Te Quedas O Me Olvides/Crei Morir- 45- stereo-International/Fania 8045 - 1977 33 1/3 Salsa LP release by Argentinian vocalist, Roberto Yanes. Valdes is known mainly as a bolerista, with a career dating back to the 1960's. Both songs are from the album, " Estamos Solos". Disc was released on the International subsidiary of the great Latin label, Fania Records. Copy at hand is an original International/Fania 45-NOT a repro-from old store stock, and is MINT and unplayed.
