- Brubeck/Dave Brubeck, Gerry Mulligan, Carmen McRae, Australian Jazz Quartet-1956 New Jazz Photo Tour Book- printed matter- none-Associated Booking Corp. - Approx. 1956 16 page "tour book", loaded with highly artistic photos and written biographies of the included artists, who are Dave Brubeck, Gerry Mulligan, Carmen McRae, & the Australian Jazz Quartet. The book, or booklet, measures 12" x 9", and has a glossy cover with black & white interior pages. It appears to have been made by the Associated Booking Corp. of New York. We are not truly sure whether these artists did a tour together, or if this book was a prmotional tool of their booking agency. Photos include beautiful full pages of Brubeck, Mulligan, McRae, Paul Desmond & The Australian Jazz Quartet, plus lots of smaller photos and a 2-pager of the Brubeck Quartet. (Please note: the photo below shows the book cover to the left, and a sample page from the interior at right.) Book's exterior shows a bit of creasing & wear. Interior is clean but has a few notes in pen by the original owner.
