• Faithfull, Marianne-Dreamin' My Dreams- LP- stereo-NEMS (UK) NEL 6007 - 1976 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Marianne Faithfull. This was the first album in a decade for Faithfull (album was re-released the following year in an altered form as "Faithless"). Her next true album release was 1978's breakthrough, "Broken English." For this LP, Faithfull uses her weathered and world-weary voice on a variety of styles, including atmospheric 70's Rock ("Lady Madelaine"), Country Rock (This Time" by Waylon Jennings and "I'm Not Lisa" by Jessi Colter), and 50's Rock ("Sweet Little Sixteen" by Chuck Berry). Cover (still partially encased in shrink) is super clean with a minor crease at the top left. This was the band's third US LP, and while it did not provide any US chart hits, it was well-liked by the fans and went gold. • Fools-Psycho Chicken (Clucked/Beeped)- 45- Stereo-EMI SPRO-9330 - 1980 release, promo-only gold vinyl 7" features the goofy single, "Psycho Chicken," by the Clown Princes of Boston Rock, The Fools, who had an FM hit with their song, "Life Sucks and Then You Die". This tune, a minor hit and regional classic, is a parody of the Talking Heads tune, "Psycho Killer," but in this case it is a chicken that is on the lam! Lots of cluck-humor here. Side A is the "Clucked" version, where clucking noises are used to cover the cuss words, while Side B, the "Beeped" version, uses the more conventional beeping sound. In any case, Side A gives you more cluck for your buck. Comes in original EMI stock sleeve. Vinyl is NM & plays clean! • Head Hands & Feet-Old Soldiers Never Die- LP- stereo-ATCO SD 7025 - 1973 33 1/3 RPM LP release by UK Rock group, Heads Hands & Feet. Group featured vocalist Tony Colton and guitar ace Albert Lee (sideman to Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris, etc). Group was highly talented, but saw little commerical success. Sound of this LP is a mix of Leon Russell/Eric Clapton/Bonnie & Delaney style Rock, Rock ballads, Southern Rock, and cooking Country-Rock which prefigures Albert Lee's work with artists like Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell. Tracks include "Meal Ticket," "One Woman," and "Stripes." Cover (promo sticker on front-1/4" saw mark at top right) shows slight wear only-no stains, tears, splits, or writing.
