  • King Biscuit Boy With Crowbar-Official Music- LP- stereo-Paramount PAS 5030 - 1970 33 1/3 RPM LP release by King Biscuit Boy, AKA Canadian Bluesman (harp and vocals), Richard Newell. Newell got his start, as many did, with Ronnie Hawkins and his band the Hawks. After going solo, he joined forces with Crowbar, which was made up of ex-Hawks. LP at hand was his debut album, which was well received, charting in both the U.S. and Canada. The single "Corrina Corrina" was a minor hit in Canada as well. Music is a hard-driving mix of Blues standards ("Hoy Hoy Hoy," "Don't Go No Further") and originals ("Cookin' Little Baby," "Biscuit's Boogie"). Textured gatefold cover is Near Mint-no stains, tears, splits, or writing. Disc is clean, glossy, and Near Mint.

Contains one studio album and one live album (photo inside gatefold accordingly shows Kinks performing on stage). 21 tracks in all including "Celluloid Heroes", "You Don't Know My Name", "Unreal Reality", "Top of the Pops", "Acute Schizophrenia Paranoia Blues", "Muswell Hillbilly", "Lola" and "Banana Boat Song." Both discs are clean, glossy and Mint. Cover is clean with only the slightest wear along the edges and corners and a small crease near the top left corner of the front cover.

  • Larsen, Kim-Vaersgo- LP- Stereo-CBS (Holland) 65718 - 1973 solo LP (33 1/3 RPM album) by Kim Larsen, former lead singer of Denmark's most famous Rock band, Gasolin'. This was Larsen's first solo project, and the sound of the album is more Dylan-esque Folk/Rock than the Stones & Small Faces sound of Gasolin'. Tunes include "Nanna" & "Sylvester's Drom". Cover shows slight wear and creasing, but is quite nice overall, grading Excellent Plus. Disc is housed in original custom inner sleeve (photos/lyrics) and is clean, glossy and Near Mint. Excellent copy of a scarce LP!

  • Leadon, Bernie/Bernie Leadon & Michael Georgiades Band-Natural Progressions- LP- stereo-Asylum 7E 1107 - 1977 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Bernie Leadon and Michael Georgiades. Original Eagles member Bernie Leadon was perhaps the group's most underrated and valuable player from 1972 through 1975, as he alternated between vocals, guitar (acoustic, electric, and pedal steel), banjo, and mandolin, in addition to lending a hand with songwriting. In this LP, he shares lead vocals and songwriting with Georgiades. Tracks include "Callin' For Your Love", "Tropical Winter", and "At Love Again".   • Lennon, John-Imagine: Music From the Original Motion Picture- LP- stereo-Capitol C190803 - 1988 release, 2 LP set, glossy gatefold cover, neat 1/2 punch hole (promo mark) in top right corner, 1st LP is all Beatles, except for "Real Love" (solo Lennon recording-different, superior take to the one overdubbed by the surviving Beatles!), disc 2 is all Lennon solo material: 2 versions of "Imagine" (master take and reheat\rsal), "Mother", ("Just Like" Starting Over", etc, cover is near perfect, only flaw is extremely slight dent to bottom left corner, discs are glossy and apparently unused!   • Lenox, Annie-Whiter Shade of Pale (4:49)/No More I Love You's Remix (Radio Edit 4:28, Soundfactory Mix 11:40, Junior's Club Mix 7:34, Tribal Mix 8:18)- CD- stereo-Arista 12851 - 1995 five track (CD-5) CD EP by former Eurythmics vocalist, Annie Lenox. This CD release accompanied her "Medusa" album, in which Lenox performed all cover songs. Lead track on this single is the (studio version) cover of the Procol Harum classic, "Whiter Shade of Pale". Also include 4 hard to get versions of "No More I Love You's Remix", which was a medley of "No More", "Take Me to the River" and "Downtown Lights". Junior Vasquez does the remixes on all of these. LP was a monster hit for him, with 5 POP hits: "Heart of Rock and Roll", "Walking On a Thin Line", "I Want a New Drug", "Heart and Soul", and "If This Is It". Still sealed in original shrinkwrap (tiny amount of wear to top left corner), uncreased with custom sticker on shrink ("5 Hit Songs" etc.).   • Lindenberg, Udo-Lindenberg's Rock Revue- LP- stereo-Telefunken 244 115 - 1978 33 1/3 RPM LP release by legendary German Rock star, Udo Lindenberg. LP at hand seems to be a concept LP of some sort-apparently Udo's conception of a 1950's Rock revue, but updated with a 70's Rock sound reminiscent of Bowie, Roxy Music, The Tubes, etc. Tracks (all in German) include "Tutti Frutti," "Salty Dog" (Procol Harum), and "Reeperbahn" (a medley of the Beatles' "Penny Lane" and a Lindenberg original). Cover (yellow "exclamation point" importers' sticker on front at top left) is NM-no stains, writing, etc. Includes 8 page deluxe booklet with cartoons, vintage photos, and commentary. Disc (housed in custom sleeve-rainbow colored label) is clean, glossy, and MINT.

  • Malibooz-Malibooz Rule!- LP- Stereo-Rhino 100 - Out of print in all formats-This the first Rhino LP by a single artist (a couple of compilations preceded it.) This rare early Rhino release attempts to revive the California surf sound. Group is John & Ted Zambetti, Tom Rude, Lee Kix, Scott Monahan & Walter Egan (best known for his 1978 pop hit, "Magnet & Steel")- guest stars are Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, Dean Torrence of Jan & Dean, & Wendy Waldman, 70's & 80's singer-songwriter. Mostly an attempt to update Beach Boys style vocal surf, but there are a couple of guitar workouts. Crisply recorded! Cover is clean with slight creasing- disc looks unused and plays mint! - (EXC+/M) - $10- Order

  • Mandel, Harvey-Get Off In Chicago (white label promo)- LP- Stereo-Ovation OV 14-15 - 1971 release, 33 1/3 RPM LP with gatefold cover by legendary Rock & Blues guitarist Harvey Mandel. For this album Mandel assembled 18 musicians from the Chicago scene (including Freddie Fox, Dave Cook, Don Cody & Phil Johnson) to put together an album of original Blues, Rock & Jazz in the spirit of an improvised "jam" session. Tracks range from funky soul-influenced Rock to Jazz-Rock jams to straight ahead Blues. Tracks include "Check Me Out", "Highway Blues" & "Jellyroll." Mandel lends his unique guitar style to all but one track. Cover is Near Mint. Disc (white label Promo copy) is Mint.

  • Mann, Billy-Self-titled- LP- Stereo-DV8 Records - 1995 Promo-only release by singer/songwriter Billy Mann. His music is modern pop with acoustic guitar, but there is a Folk edge to his song writing. Tracks include "Back in '69", "Turn Down the World" & "You Only Love Once." Special Promo package is both handsome and elaborate. Disc comes in book-style cover (meant to look like bound leather) with gilt lettering. Interior pages include track list, lyrics, artist portrait and blank pages for a personal diary. Disc is clean and Mint. Cover shows only slight creasing. High-quality Post-Punk Gothic group, often compared to fellow labelmates, The Sisters of Mercy (The March Violets had a male/female vocal mix, however). Complete Tracklist: 1. Snake Dance 2. Features 8 tracks including "Ol' 55", "Tried So Hard" and "Dirty Work." Session players include BJ Colis, David Lindley, and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter. Sound of the album is essentially LA country rock (Eagles, Jackson Brown, etc.,..). Textured cover is in excellent condition overall and has a Promo sticker at top right. Top left corner along spine shows heavy wear and fraying. Includes 2 page lyric sheet insert and the original custom inner sleeve.   • McLennan, Grant-Present & Past (1983-1995)- CD- Stereo-Beggars Banquest PRCD 6031-2 - 1995 release, Promo-only retrospective of Grant McLennan's recordings including his work with the Go-Betweens. McLennan, a native of Queensland, Australia, spent more than a decade as the co-leader/singer/guitarist/songwriter of the Go-Betweens. He began his solo career in '91 and has gone on to make several solo records some of which have been produced by John Keane (REM, Uncle Tupelo, Indigo Girls, etc.) The compilation features 11 tracks including "Surround Me", "Streets of Your Town", "Bachelor Kisses" and "Cattle and Cane."   • Ono, Yoko-Season of Glass- LP- stereo-Geffen (Canada)XGHS 2004 - 1981 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Yoko Ono. Album was mostly recorded before the death of her husband, John Lennon (although some tracks were composed afterwards, and offer poignant commentary on his death), and he is featured on guitar and gets some production credit (main production credits are to Phil Spector and Yoko). LP features stunning cover image of John's shattered, bloodstained glasses on front, and Yoko was even daring enough to put gunshots at the beginning of the dance track, "No, No, No". Other tracks include "Goodbye Sadness" and "I Don't Know Why". Album is credited as Yoko's most accessible. Copy at hand is a SEALED Canadian Geffen copy. Small punch hole top left.
