High-quality Post-Punk Gothic group, often compared to fellow labelmates, The Sisters of Mercy (The March Violets had a male/female vocal mix, however). Complete Tracklist: Snake Dance, It’s Hot, Snake Dance (Extended) and Slow Drip Lizard. Textured "Snakeskin" cover is extremely clean with only slight wear-small abrasion on front at top right-no stains, writing, splits, etc. Disc is clean, glossy, and MINT. • Paul, Louis-Reflections of the Way it Really Is- LP- stereo-Enterprise/Stax ENS-1034 - 1973 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Memphis, TN session guitarist and vocalist, Louis Paul. Paul, a boyhood friend of Elvis Presley, has extensive playing experience with a who's who of Rock and Soul musicians, including Hank Ballard, Sam Cooke, Roy Head, Dr. John, Duane Eddy, Albert King, and many more. He toured with Ronny and the Daytonas and formed a successful Garage band called the Guilloteens. in 1972, he signed with Stax and this LP, a stylistic mix of Rock and Soul, was the result. All tracks original, ranging in sound from Blue Eyed Soul, to 70's Pop, to Blues-Rock, to Funk-Rock. Standout tracks include "Leave the Door Where You Found It" (guitar instro with Funk groove) and "The Stars" (mellow 70's Soul groove). • Queen-Flash Gordon/Original Motion Picture Soundtrack- LP- stereo-Elektra SE 518 - 1980 33 1/3 RPM white label promo LP release by Queen. Queen got the commission for the much-anticipated movie remake of "Flash Gordon". As it turned out, the Queen soundtrack music turned out to be the best thing about the project. Cover (with gold promo stamp on front at top right) has custom sticker glued to top right (this had come loose-we have neatly reglued it but it does show a little creasing). Cover shows very minor wear only-no stains, tears, splits, writing, etc. Crisp original insert sheet with great color photo of the Emperor Mint and album credits on reverse is inside cover. Disc is housed in original custom inner sleeve-clean and uncreased, although the sharp edge of the LP has cut through the edges in 2 places (approx 2" splits). Richards, who was signed to 9 different labels as testament to his perceived talent, is best-known today for his '70 Pop hit version of Bob Dylans "Love Minus Zero". Although the group saw little success on both sides of the Atlantic, they did release this one great LP of original Rock. The sound of the album is a mix of Prog and Boogie Rock and is very much of the era (early 70s UK Rock) similar in some ways to The Sweet, 10cc, ELO, the Move. Tracks include "I Ain't Never Loved a Woman", "Give Me More", "Jo Anne" and "Boggled." Cover is Mint in the original shrink with sharp edges and corners. Disc is Near Mint.
