• Van Eaton, Lon & Derrek-Brother- LP- stereo-Apple SMAS 3390 - 1972 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Lon & Derrek Van Eaton. Produced by Klaus Voorman, with "Sweet Music” produced by George Harrison. Derrek supplies lead vocals, flute, guitar, and drums-Lon plays piano, backup vox, guitar, sax, drums, and arranged the horns & strings. Ringo Starr drums on 2 tracks ("Sweet Music" and "Another Thought"). Sound of LP is snappy early 70's Pop with a distinctly "Apple" sound clearly influenced by The Beatles. Copy at hand is still factory SEALED-100% new and unused. Cover is perfect inside shrink with sharp corners. LP is SEALED, so are unable to check, but all other known copies came with a neat bonus insert. Insert splits into 3 pieces which can be joined into a cylinder which, when placed on a turntable, will produce "moving" images of Lon & Derrek playing their instruments. Result is tight pop with disco elements, sometimes sounding like Dusty Springfield's collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys.
