Features 31 tracks ranging from well-known to obscure and rare cuts from LP's that did not sell well upon initial release. Artists include Mephistopheles, Pearls Before Swine, The Pentangle, The Blue Velvet Band, Ella Fitzgerald, Geoff and Maria Muldaur, The Kinks, The Fugs, The Grateful Dead, Joni Mitchell, Lorraine Ellison, Neil Young, The Mothers of Invention, Jethro Tull and more. Gatfold cover is clean with no writing, stains, tears, etc. Minor wear/creasing to 2 corners and 2 inch seam split to back half of cover at top center. Nice 4 page booklet inside w/photos, artist bios, etc.) Both discs (green Warner/7 Arts label) are clean, glossy & Near Mint. Set provides an interesting snapshot of a very good year in Rock and was not available in stores!

Set was compiled by North By Northeast, a collective of Canadian record labels representing the bands at this years' South By Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas. Set (packaged in a double DVD keepcase) collects 41 tracks by 41 Canadian bands. Genres represented include Pop/Rock, Electronic/DJ, Hip Hop/Urban Rap, and Roots/Blues. Collection is fairly unique in that it collects so many artists from different labels, and represents the cream of Canada's up and coming talent as presented at SXSW 2005. Cover and both discs are MINT, apparently unplayed.

Title track was written by Jackson and Ritchie and produced by Quincy Jones. Album also features one track "Tears Are Not Enough" by Northern Lights, a Canadian group that includes Joni Mitchell, Bryan Adams, Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young and others.
