Guthrie has 4 songs on the LP: "Traveling Music," "Trip to the City," and the 2-part "Alice's Restaurant Massacree." (We have been unable to determine if the "Massacree" featured on this album is the same as the one Arlo recorded for Warner Bros. Aurally, we were unable to tell. However, we were unable to see any credit to Warner Bros. for use of the song so this version may possibly be a different version recorded for United Artists.) Also features 1 track each by Tigger Outlaw and Al Shackman, plus 3 instrumentals by Garry Sherman. Cover is super-clean in original shrinkwrap-slight wear to exposed right edge. Heavy vinyl disc (purple and orange label) is clean, glossy, and Near Mint. N/A on CD.
Barry, John-Plays Film and T.V. Themes- LP- stereo-Capitol ST 2527 - 1966 33 1/3 RPM LP release by composer, arranger, conductor, John Barry. Barry -originally a trumpeter in the very hip John Barry Seven-is, of course, best known for composing 11 James Bond movie soundtracks, which often combined jazzy brass with twangy guitar leads. LP features a nice selection of TV and movie themes from the period-mostly composed by Barry. Highlights include "007" (a Bond classic used in 4 films, starting with "Dr. No"), "From Russia With Love", and "Kinky" (nice Lounge-Core sound Brit TV piece). Track listing: From Russia With Love, The Elizabeth Theme, The London Theme, The Loneliness of Autumn, 007, Lovers, Kinky, Fire of London, London Waltz. LP cover is MINT in original shrinkwrap. Disc (black label with silver print and rainbow color band around edges) is clean, glossy and Near Mint. Plays beautifully with only minor surface noise and rich clear sound.
Beckett-Dialogue Highlights from the Paramount Motion Picture- LP- Mono-RCA LOC-1091 - 1964 release with glossy gatefold cover and many great photos. Features dialogue highlights from Peter Glenville's movie "Beckett" based on French playwright Jean Anouilh's version. All star cast includes Richard Burton, Peter O'Toole, and Sir John Gielgud. Cover is glossy and would be Near Mint if not for a few tiny nicks on front cover and some wear along the edges and corners(both minor). Vinyl is glossy and Mint. Comes in original RCA inner sleeve. Very handsome package!
Bedknobs and Broomsticks (SEALED 7" EP)-The Beautiful Briny/The Old Home Guard/With a Flair/Substitutiary Locomotion- 45- mono-Disneyland FS 902 - 1972 33 1/3 RPM 7 inch record with picture sleeve. Record offers 4 songs from the Disney movie, "Bedknobs and Broomsticks". Disc is still factory SEALED (slight creasing to bottom right corner-tiny bit of wear to top center edge where shrink has come open slightly)-disc inside is, of course, MINT and unplayed.
Bible-Movie Soundtrack- LP- mono-20th Century Fox 3187 - tiny punch hole, 1966 release, title on spine is "For the Children of the World, ART LINKLETTER narrates the Bible", slight ring wear, disc appears unused, contains actual dialogue, sound effects, and music from the soundtrack, with script insert - (NM-/M) - $7- Order
Bjork-Music From Mathew Barney's- LP- stereo-One Little Indian (U.S.) OLI 459 - 2005 3 1/3 LP release by Bjork. Album contains the soundtrack music, composed by Bjork herself, for the movie, "Drawing Restraint 9", by her signifigant other, avant-garde filmaker, Matthew Barney. Bjork creates some beautiful and rather unearthly soundscapes using complex rhythms, unusual instrumentation, and, of course, her voice. Copy at hand is a U.S.-made One Little Indians Records LP, STILL SEALED in it's original shrinkwrap. Cover is near-perfect inside shrink. (Tiny bit of creasing to the bottom right corner. Has neat 1/8 inch saw mark at bottom left.) Custom sticker on shrinkwrap on front. Disc inside is, of course, MINT and unused. LAST COPY!
Charade-Original Soundtrack- LP- Stereo-LSP 2755 - Black Dynagroove label. Henry Mancini composed and conducted the music for this 1963 soundtrack (with help from Johnny Mercer on title track) Movie starred Cary Grant & Audrey Hepburn in thriller about a cat-burglar on the French Riviera. Music varies from crime jazz feel to French flavored melodies. Excellent score! Cover is clean & glossy. Slightly bent corner. 2 tiny dents on edge. No groove wear on vinyl. A few light marks only. Exodus-Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Ernest Gold- Reel to Reel- Living Stereo-RCA FTO 5007 - 1961 4 track 7 1/2 IPS reel to reel motion picture soundtrack. "Exodus" movingly told story of the events that led to the creation of Israel. Original score, composed by Ernest Gold, weaves elements of Israeli & Arab music into a powerful orchestral statement. Album won Grammys that year for best song & best soundtrack. "Exodus" was recorded with RCA's legendary "Living Stereo" process, which produced audiophile-quality playback that was considerably ahead of it's time. Godfather Part II-Original Motion Picture Soundtrack- LP- Stereo-MCA (Japan) VIM 7275 - 1975 release, 33 1/3 RPM LP, Japanese press with the original OBI strip on the cover. This is the original soundtrack for the 2nd movie in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather cycle, now starring Al Pacino as heir to Marlon Brando's Don. Music is composed by Nino Rota with additional pieces composed by Carmine Coppola. Cover is Near Mint (with extremely minor creasing at top left) and very clean with no stains, tears, writing, splits, etc. Disc (an excellent Japanese press) is Mint. Superior vinyl copy!

Plays great with minimal surface noise. Classic recording revered by children and adults to this day!

This is not the actual movie soundtrack but a studio creation by Bill Randle & Steve Allen. Features Dick Jacobs, George Cates, their chorus and orchestra as well as Gigi Perreau & Jimmy Wakely. Steve Allen & Bill Randle narrate. Contains 4 tracks including the theme from "East of Eden" & "Rebel Without A Cause", "The Ballad of James Dean" & "We'll Never Forget You." Vinyl is clean and Mint. Cover is Near Mint w/strong corners & seams & only the lightest wear spots (very minor) on the back cover and at the top of the front cover (these often show up on white covers). There is also a very tiny tear by the word "Story" on the front cover that you have to look very closely to see. Maroon Coral label original!

This is a "studiotrack" LP (a movie soundtrack that is recreated in the studio) featuring selected songs from the Sigmund Romberg operetta, "The Student Prince" and other musical comedies. Lanza is accompanied by an orchestra under the direction of Constantine Callinicos. Tracks include "Serenade", "Golden Days", "I'll Be Seeing You" and "Summertime in Heidelberg" (with Elizabeth Doubleday). Front cover slick is perfect. Back cover shows only the slightest wear-no stains, heavy creases, tears, writing, or seam splits. Disc is Mint. 1st press!
