• Vera, Billy & Judy Clay-Storybook Children- LP- mono-Atlantic 8174 - 1967 album release by Billy Vera and Judy Clay, which yielded the Pop/Soul hit, "Storybook Children". Vera has a long history as a "blue-eyed Soul singer" and teamed with Stax Soul singer, Judy Clay to record the title song, which he co-wrote with Chip Taylor, of "Wild Thing" fame. Tune was a smash and an LP was recorded, featuring Chip Taylor or acoustic guitar, Vera on electric, and various session players. Tunes include other Vera and Taylor originals, as well as Soul classics such as "Soul Man", "Bring It On Home to Me", and "Do Right Woman-Do Right Man".
