A side is theme song for surf movie, with classic surf sound augmented by orchestra and surf sounds- result is cool tune! B side is vocal version of Chuck Berry classic. Disc is very clean with only 2 tiny marks on dead wax on A side, just barely touching 1st groove. Very nice copy! - (NM) - $15- Order

- Berry, Jan-Little Queenie (mono)/Little Queenie (stereo) (WLP DJ 45)- 45- stereo/mono-A&M 1957 - 1977 release 45 RPM promo 7" by Jan Berry, the driving force behind the Surf vocal duo Jan & Dean. This 7" features the same song, a Chuck Berry classic arranged Surf style, on both sidesin mono and stereo mixes for radio airplay. The disc-from a mostly unplayed DJ collection-is clean, glossy and Mint (clean labels). Comes in a stock A&M sleeve.

- Doggett, Bill-Oops!- LP- mono-Columbia CL 1814 - 1962 33 1/3 RPM LP release by organist, Bill Doggett. 1962 release. Excellent bluesy & rockin' instrumentals, featuring some excellent guitar by Floyd Smith, who succeeded Billy Butler in the band. Track listing: Honky Tonk (Pts 1 & 2), Canadian Sunset, Deed I Do, Buster, Forest Green, Oops, Stop That Twistin' In Here, I Cover the Waterfront, Lady's Choice, Mommy (Pts 1 & 2). Front cover slick shows slight wear. Small brown stain along left edge of back side. Small tear at top right on back side. Disc (heavy vinyl-red "six eye" label with black print) is clean, glossy & Near Mint. N/A on CD.

- Eddy, Duane-Twistin' With Duane Eddy- LP- mono-Jamie JLP 70-3022 - 1962 33 1/3 RPM original 1st press LP release by top-selling guitar instrumentalist, Duane Eddy. LP at hand offers 12 Duane Eddy tracks from a few years earlier-all retitled to fit in with the "Twist" craze! Tracks include "Hard Times Twist," "Twisting Up and Down," and "Twisting Peter Gunn." Cover is super clean-small tape stain and small sticker stain on back-no writing, splits, or tears. Disc (extra-thick vinyl-green and white label with vertical Jamie logo at left) is clean, glossy, and Near Mint with only the faintest traces of any handling. A beautiful copy.

- Malibooz-Malibooz Rule!- LP- Stereo-Rhino 100 - Out of print in all formats-This the first Rhino LP by a single artist (a couple of compilations preceded it.) This rare early Rhino release attempts to revive the California surf sound. Group is John & Ted Zambetti, Tom Rude, Lee Kix, Scott Monahan & Walter Egan (best known for his 1978 pop hit, "Magnet & Steel")- guest stars are Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, Dean Torrence of Jan & Dean, & Wendy Waldman, 70's & 80's singer-songwriter. Mostly an attempt to update Beach Boys style vocal surf, but there are a couple of guitar workouts. Crisply recorded!
