Eurythmics-In the Garden (Original UK Press)- LP- Stereo-RCA (UK) RCALP 5061 - 1981 release, 33 1/3 RPM import LP by UK duo Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, the Eurythmics. This is the group's original English 1st LP, which was not released in the US until after the success of their hit "Sweet Dreams." Tracks include "Belinda", "Caveman Head", "She's Invisible Now" & "Your Time Will Come." Glossy cover is Near Mint and uncreased with no seam splits, heavy creases, tears, stains, writing, etc. Disc (in Near Mint original inner sleeve) is Mint. Original UK press in top condition!
Flies/The Flies-Get Burned- LP- stereo-Homestead HMS 046 - 1985 33 1/3 RPM LP release by The Flies. The Flies were an excellent Boston-based Post-Punk trio led by singer/guitarist/songwriter, Nat Freedberg, who went on to form The Titanics and has finally acheived signifigant national success with his band, The Uppper Crust. LP features six tunes: "Burned", "Something Wrong Part 2", "Is Love Real??", "Zombie Burger", "I'm in Pittsburgh (and it's Raining)" and "Jack of All Trades". Cover is clean with some creasing to bottom left corner. Disc is MINT. N/A on compact disc.
Flipper-Sex Bomb / Brainwash- 45- Stereo-Subterranean 23 - Classic 1981 hardcore single with original handmade picture sleeve on Red Vinyl! Sleeve shows some creasing & a few small stains but is pretty nice considering the usual treatment of this type of record. Idol, Billy-Shock to the System (Promo CD with Electronic Presskit)- CD- stereo-Chrysalis DPRO-04718 - 1993 promo only compact disc release. Issued to promote "Cyber Punk" CD. This was a pretty cool item in the early 90's, taking advantage of the latest technology to provide a 'Computer Press Kit' on a MacIntosh floppy disc. Triple gatefold digipack cover houses a CD single with the title song, "Shock to the System", a special pocket for the floppy disc, and a "read me first" paper insert with directions for the disc. Cover shows slight wear. Discs are both MINT.

This is a sealed copy that comes in a plain white jacket with a custom sticker on the front. Disc is, of course, Mint and unplayed!

Madness-Michael Caine / If You Think There's Something- LP- Stereo-Stiff (UK) Records 196 - 1981 release 33 1/3 RPM 12 inch by UK Ska/Pop outfit Madness. This 12" is still sealed. Comes in a handsome picture sleeve jacket (with a great photo of Michael Caine on the back cover), which shows only slight wear through the shrink at the bottom left corner. Disc within is, of course, MINT and unplayed. Hard-to-find Stiff original 12"!

Pixies-Velouria- CD- Stereo-4 A.D./Elektra 66616-2 - 1990 release, 4 track CD maxi-single by Boston's own Pixies. Title track "Velouria" was popular on college radio when it came out. The remaining tracks, "Make Believe", "I've Been Waiting For You" (from Neil Young's first album), and "The Thing," are all non-album tracks and are hard to find. Cover and disc are both Near Mint. Nice Pixies item!
Pop, Iggy-King Biscuit Flower Hour Radio Show- CD- stereo-King Biscuit 97-38 - Promo-only radio show CD, from the popular weekly show, "King Biscuit Flower Hour", which features live in-concert recordings of top Rock acts. This show features Iggy Pop at the Channel in Boston from 1988. Tunes include "Instinct", "Power and Freedon" & "Search & Destroy". Iggy is in top form here, newly sober and at the peak of his powers! 12 complete tracks! Show originally aired 9/15/97-9/21/97. 58 minute running time, complete with announcements and brief commercials. Includes original 2 page cue sheet. Disc is Near Mint. Completely unavailable commercially!
Prime Movers-Matters of Time- LP- stereo-Throbbing Lobster Bisque 3 - 1984 33 1/3 RPM 6 song EP by Boston's Prime Movers. The Movers were contemporaries of the Real Kids & the Lyres, and had substantial draw in the area. Sound of the band is Garage-fueled Punk, with strong echoes of Husker Du. Tunes include "Smash the Mirror" and "She'll Never Know". Cover is near-perfect, but for a small tear on the back. Vinyl is Mint, possibly unplayed! Nice Boston Punk artifact!

Sharkey, Feargal-Feargal Sharkey (self-titled UK debut LP )- LP- stereo-Virgin (UK) V2360 - 1985 33 1/3 rpm LP release by Undertones frontman & vocalist, Feargal Sharkey. This was Sharkey's debut solo LP, containing the international hit, "A Good Heart". Copy at hand is an original UK first press. Cover is clean and glossy with slight creasing only (small dent to bottom left corner. Disc is housed in original custom inner sleeve with lyrics & graphics similar to the album cover. Vinyl has high gloss, showing only one 1 1/2 spindle mark on side 2 which does not affect play. Dics plays clean with rich sound and almost no surface noise.
Simple Minds-Belfast Child/Mandela Day/Biko- LP- stereo-Virgin SMXB3 - Deluxe limited edition UK 12" release from 1989 by Simple Minds. 3 song 12", with elaborate box-style cover & double inner sleeve (cutaway box with custom Simple Minds sleeve inside. Includes four mint 8 1/2 X 11 glossy Black and White photos from Belfast Child video. (We have scanned one to show you.) Box edges have collapsed along top, but are intact at left and bottom edges (this is pretty much inevitable with an item like this once it is placed in a stack of records). Shows some wear along top edge as well. Cover is otherwise quite clean. Disc is glossy and Near Mint. Wonderful collector's item for fans of the group.

Skin Yard-Inside the Eye- LP- stereo-Cruz CRZ 027 - 1993 33 1/3 RPM LP release by Seattle Rock band, Skin Yard, led by guitarist Jack Endino. LP has the classic Seattle sound-comparisons to Soundgarden and Alice in Chains are in order here. Endino is best-known, however, as a producer for Sub Pop Records, and for his work with Nirvana (he produced all of "Bleach" and half of the "Incesticide" tracks). Cover (cut corner top right) is Near Mint-no stains, tears, splits, or writing. Disc is Near Mint.
Stranglers-Black & White-LP (Includes a bonus EP)- LP- Stereo-United Artists UAK 30222 (UK) - 1978 release 33 1/3 RPM UK 1st press LP including bonus white vinyl 7" by The Stranglers. Tracks include "Nice 'N' Sleazy," "Do You Wanna" and "Curfew." Laura Logic plays sax on "Hey!"This 1st press comes with all the extras: the custom inner sleeve with lyrics, the black sleeve for the 7" and the original EP title card (Mean to Me/Tits/Walk on By). Condition is excellent. The cover shows slight wear only and a little wrinkling along the right edge-tears, writing, seam splits or stains. The EP grades NM. Vinyl is clean and glossy showing a few minor, light marks only. Plays clean with almost no surface noise.

Third Rail-It's a Surprise / Take That- 45- Stereo-Longview LV 8006 - 1980 release 45 RPM 7" with picture sleeve by Boston New Wave era band Third Rail headed by vocalist Richard Nolan. The sound of the band, with chippy, pulsating rhythms and hiccuped vocals, is roughly comparable to the Cars (sleeve notes in fact give thanks to Rick Ocasek of the Cars) . The sleeve shows some creasing towards the top and grades excellent. The disc (from a clean DJ collection) is clean, glossy and Mint. Rare small-label Boston Punk/New Wave 7" with picture sleeve.
Third Rail-Rondy Rush/Sweet Jane- 45- stereo-Rat Records RR 5283 - 1976 45 RPM 7" release by seminal Boston New Wave/Punk band, Third Rail. Band was led by Richard Nolan, and included Fred Pineau (later in The Atlantics). Sound of band was heavily Lou Reed influenced (as evidenced by the B-side cover of "Sweet Jane". Release on Rat Records (a by-product of the legendary Boston Punk club, The Rat, AKA The Rathskellar) and co-produced by owner Jimmy Herald. Disc is Near Mint.
