  • War Heroes-San Juan/Crank It Up- LP- stereo-Fantasy D215 - 33 1/3 RPM 12" by Portland, Oregon Funk group, Shock. Group had a series of minor R&B hits in the early 1980's (the biggest being "Electrophonic Phunk" in 1983). Side "A" is instrumental Jazz/Funk, reminiscient of Herbie Hancock's "Future Shock" period. B side is a funky vocal tune, with a sound similar to Morris Day & the Time. In stock black jacket with promo stamp. Vinyl is clean, glossy & Near Mint!

Includes the hits "(Olivia) Lost and Turned Out" & "(Let's Go) All the Way." Tracks: 1. Headlights 2. (Olivia) Lost and Turned Out 3.(Let's Go) All the Way4.(You're A) Special Part of My Life5. Planets of Life 6. Try and Make It Better7. Disco Melody 8. Children of Tomorrow. Copy at hand is still factory SEALED in its original shrinkwrap. Bottom left corner (bottom right on back) shows slight wear where shrink has peeled back so that a gold promo stamp could be applied to the back cover. Corners and edges are otherwise sharp and clean. Disc within is, of course, MINT and unplayed.

  • Wilson, Mari-Mari Wilson- LP- Stereo-London (Japan) 4L15P1154 - 4 song 12" EP, released in 1983. Wilson is a British pop singer, part of the New Wave era. Her look is extremely retro, and her music combines retro elements of 60's pop (Supremes, Dusty Springfield & other 60's female pop singers) with modern production. Uses synthesizers & multiple tracking to produce modern version of "Wall of Sound". Result is tight pop with disco elements, sometimes sounding like Dusty Springfield's collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys. Disc is very cool looking- uses huge center area for photo of Mari with giant beehive hairdo! Custom 12" cover with sticker in Japanese and viewport to see label & photo. Cover is clean, disc is mint! Japanese pressing is clear as a bell! Tunes are "Just What I Always Wanted", "Beat the Beat", "Baby It's True" & "Tu No Me Liores". - (NM/M) - $5.99- Order
