- Brown/James Brown & the Famous Flames-I Loves You Porgy/Yours and Mine- 45- mono-Bethlehem 45-3089 - 1967 45 RPM seven inch record by Godfather of Soul, James Brown. Disc was one of a few released on the King subsidiary, Bethlehem Records. A side is a Soul version of the Gershwin tune, "I Loves You Porgy", B side is a funky original instrumental. Disc is Near Mint with clean labels.

- Clayton, Merry-Keep Your Eye On The Sparrow- LP- stereo-Ode SP-77030 - 1974 33 1/3 RPM LP release by vocalist Merry Clayton. Clayton had a long career, including work with Ray Charles, The Rolling Stones (great 2nd vocal on "Gimme Shelter"!) and then a moderately successful solo career. LP at hand is built around the hit title song "Keep Your Eye On The Sparrow," which was used in the TV show "Baretta," starring Robert Blake. LP was produced by Eugene McDaniels, whose "Headless Horsemen" LP is very collectible today. Sound of LP is extremely funky, well-produced soul music. Tracks include: "Sink or Swim," "One More Ride," and the hit "Keep Your Eye On The Sparrow." Cover (promo sticker on front) shows slight ringwear, and a corner crease at the bottom right. Disc shows a little scuffing and one 1/2 inch light mark on track 1 side 2 which does not affect play-plays nicely with light to moderate surface noise.

- Clifford, Linda-Here's My Love- LP- Stereo-RSO RS-1-3067 - 1979 release 33 1/3 RPM LP by R&B vocalist Linda Clifford, best known for her 1978 R&B hit "Runaway Love" and her duets with Curtis Mayfield. Mayfield, in fact, produces several tracks on this album. This LP features the "I Just Wanna Wanna" "Repossessed" & "Bailin' Out." LP is still sealed in the original shrink (cut corner top right) with sharp corners and uncreased cover. Disc is Mint and unplayed within.

- Club Nouveau-Life, Love & Pain- LP- Stereo-Warner Bros. 9 25531-1 - 1986 release, 33 1/3 RPM LP by Sacramento-based Disco-Dance band Club Nouveau, formed and fronted by Jay King. This album features the band's excellent early line-up with vocalists Valerie Weston and Samuelle Prater with Denzil Foster & Thomas McElroy. " Four R&B hits appear on this LP including "Jealousy", "Why You Treat Me So Bad", "Lean On Me" (LP also includes the "Pump It Up" Reprise) and "Situation #9." Sampled on numerous occasions, this LP has its funky moments and is a lot of fun. Cover is clean and Near Mint. No splits, heavy creases, tears, stains, writing or any other unsightly or unmentioned flaws. Disc is clean, glossy and Mint.
